Heatilator Introduces Industry’s Largest See-Through Gas Fireplace

New model casts more light and warmth to link separate living areas

Responding to consumer desires for a large, see-through direct vent gas fireplace, Heatilator® introduces the 44” See-Through gas fireplace to expand on its already celebrated family of multi-sided fireplaces. This new model addresses the ongoing trend toward more open floor plans by allowing homeowners to cast greater light and warmth between a living room and family room, kitchen and dining room, or master bedroom and bath. It’s the ideal choice for those seeking the grandness of traditional fireplaces, but want the convenience of gas and the ability to link separate living areas.

Unmatched in size and appearance, this see-through features a forty-four inch wide opening and is twenty-four inches deep. Its design incorporates a realistic and seamless interior with texture and color closely matching a traditional brick look. The 44” See-Through also uses a realistic, ceramic fiber log set to nicely complement the unit’s dancing fire. In addition, variable flame height control allows homeowners to control heat output by adjusting settings from 31,500 to 48,000 BTUs.

The 44” See-Through can be vented through the wall horizontally or vertically through the roof. By adding an optional fan to the unit, homeowners can provide warmth to either room. It also uses the patented Intellifire™ electronic ignition system to provide on-command spark-to-pilot ignition. This unique system eliminates need for a standing pilot, reducing homeowner energy costs to operate a gas fireplace by almost 50 percent.

Allowing customization to match the décor of a room, the See-through is available with The Modernist™ and Arts & Crafts™ designer fronts in multiple finishes such as pewter and black.
